The terms for using Fleeter.

These terms apply when you use Fleeter: the app at app.fleeter.com.au, its free tools and anything you sign up for there. Fleeter is provided by Fleeter Pty Ltd (ABN 23 702 344 394), “we” in these terms. By creating an account or using a free tool, you agree to them. If your organisation has a signed agreement with us, that agreement wins wherever the two differ. Last updated 25 October 2026.

1. Your account

  • You must be 18 or older and give accurate details.
  • If you sign up for an organisation, you confirm you may accept these terms for it. The organisation is then responsible for the people it invites.
  • Keep your sign-in to yourself. Tell us at support@fleeter.com.au if you think someone else has used it.

2. Free tools, trials and sandboxes

Free tools and trial or sandbox workspaces cost nothing. We may change or withdraw them. A sandbox holds sample or trial data and is removed when its trial period ends, after we tell you.

3. Paid use

Paid plans cost what your order or our published price schedule says, plus GST where it applies. We invoice in advance unless agreed otherwise. If an invoice is more than 30 days overdue, we may suspend paid features after giving you 14 days' notice.

4. Your data

  • What you put into Fleeter stays yours. You let us store and process it only to run the service for you, keep it secure and meet the law.
  • You confirm you may give us the data you upload. For people's details (such as drivers or employees), you confirm you have told them, or have another lawful basis, as privacy law requires.
  • We handle personal information as our product privacy notice says.
  • You can export your data while your account is open and for 30 days after you close it. Fleeter staff can delete or de-identify your account data from 90 days after closure. Legal holds or a request to restore the account can delay this. We keep financial records for 7 years and other records for as long as the law requires.

5. Using Fleeter properly

Do not use Fleeter to break the law, to access data that is not yours, to probe or overload the service, or to copy it to build a competing product. Report security issues through the contact at fleeter.com.au/.well-known/security.txt.

6. Figures, advice and the assistant

  • Fleeter's costs, tax figures, valuations, quotes and forecasts are calculations. They use your data and published rates, and each shows its basis. They are not financial, tax, legal or credit advice. Check important decisions with a qualified adviser.
  • Fleeter does not lend money or arrange credit. Any finance comes from the financier, under its own terms.
  • The AI assistant can be wrong. Check what it says before you rely on it. It changes nothing in your account until you confirm the change.

7. Other providers

Some features connect to services you choose, such as financiers, dealers, telematics and payroll providers. Their own terms apply to what they do. We are not responsible for their services or their data.

8. Availability and changes

We run Fleeter with reasonable care and skill, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may improve or change features. If we change these terms in a way that matters to you, we will tell you at least 30 days ahead. You may close your account before the change takes effect.

9. Closing or suspending an account

You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or close it if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, or to stop harm to others or the service. Where we can, we tell you first and give you time to fix the problem.

10. Consumer law

Nothing in these terms removes a right you have under the Australian Consumer Law or New Zealand's Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and Fair Trading Act 1986 that cannot be removed.

If you use Fleeter for a business in New Zealand, we both agree that the Consumer Guarantees Act does not apply, nor do sections 9, 12A, 13 and 14(1) of the Fair Trading Act, as far as the law allows. We agree this is fair and reasonable.

11. Liability

  • As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost profit or lost data you could have kept a copy of.
  • Our total liability for all claims is capped at the fees you paid us in the 3 months before the claim arose, or A$100 if you used Fleeter for free.
  • Where a consumer guarantee applies to services not ordinarily bought for personal use, our liability is limited to supplying the services again or paying for that.

12. Ownership

We own the Fleeter software, name and content we create. If you send us suggestions, we may use them without owing you anything.

13. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of Queensland, and the courts of Queensland have exclusive jurisdiction. If you are in New Zealand, New Zealand law that cannot be excluded still protects you. If something goes wrong, contact us first at support@fleeter.com.au and we will try to resolve it within 30 days.
