What this website collects, and what it does not.
This notice covers fleeter.com.au, the marketing website operated by Carcanvas Pty Ltd (ABN 99 673 731 934), trading as Fleeter. The product itself is governed by the agreement each customer signs; its privacy and data handling terms are part of that agreement and of the security pack we send procurement. What we collect
- What you send us. If you use the contact form you give us your name, work email, the side of the vehicle you are on, and optionally your organisation and a message. That is the whole list, and each field says whether it is optional.
- Page views, without cookies. We use Vercel Web Analytics, which counts visits and pages by hashing the request in a way that cannot be reversed into you. It sets no cookies and builds no profile, so there is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.
- Server logs. Like every website, the hosting platform records the IP address, browser and page of each request for a short period, to serve the page and to defend against abuse.
What we do not do
- No advertising or tracking cookies, no pixels, no third-party scripts. Fonts are served from this site, not from a font network.
- No newsletter you did not ask for, and no drip sequence after an enquiry. A person replies, once, with a next step.
- No selling, renting or sharing of your details with anyone for their own purposes.
Where an enquiry goes
A contact form submission is delivered to our enquiry inbox and recorded in Fleeter’s own lead register, hosted in Australia, so that the person who replies to you can see what you asked. We keep it for as long as the conversation is live and for a reasonable period afterwards, then delete it. Ask and we will delete it sooner.
Who processes it for us
The website is served by Vercel from its global edge network, which means a page request may be answered from outside Australia; the enquiry record itself is held in Australia. Our email provider handles the inbox. Each of these processors acts on our instructions and under its own published security commitments.
Your rights
Under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles you can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to privacy@fleeter.com.au and we will answer within thirty days, usually much sooner. If you are not satisfied with our answer you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes
When this notice changes, the date at the top changes with it. We do not change it quietly.
